::Tired::
Afternoon at work now trying to get things done. Saturday was out alone more or less in the afternoon. Was out into town to get a handphone fixed becasue the reception is like super bad man. Wonder why anyway was there but the dealer was out at that time so had to go back another say then headed down to beach road to get some things done for my brother. I got a uniform tag replaced with his name instead of mine and a ground sheet for his army. Met with some church people and had Tang Yuen or Glutenous Rice Balls. They have Peanut, Black Sesame, Red Bean and Yam flavoured one. Yum really nice to eat, later collected the uniform from the stall and made calls to my friends who were at town cause think they were going to watch the Chingay procession as well as snap some pictures with our digital cameras.Traditional constumes in full glory as there were Malay, Japanes and Korean outfits being on display. Went home tired but contented with the night, ended up at Lau Di Fang and had our meal and departed back to our own homes.
Shucks no one woke me up for morning service. Spent the previous night helping my mother prepare the food that was to be brought to my brother's camp as it was parent's visiting day and we were going to visit him. We also brought food for him as we had out lunch. So I woke up and started to heat up the food that was prepared to that I could bring it for him later. Went there visited him and had some talk with him and of course tried to tell him about how NS life was and how he could make things easier for himself and feel better cause this is the time that we are alone by ourselves out there facing all the people that we meet for the 1st time as we learn to defend ourselves and our country. We left there knowing that he was alright and everything fine. I was quite glad that I managed to get my camera's lens adapter to attatch new lens to the camera. Got a UV filter for it and total cost me $55 because the lens adapter was an original one from Fuji itself. Went for evening service after that and went back home to rest.
Just now I was reading an article about Internet addiction on a Australian PC magazine and he was talking about using the Internet to the extent of obsession. How we play games and use the Internet and to what extent are we considered addicted? What is our society treshold on what they think of as addiction? Some say that addiction is when one is out of control and do you believe that they actually need counselling? There are societies setup just for this as lovers of obsessed Internet users get together to discuss on these addiction issues and how to resolve them. Is out lives getting out of hand and the Internet out master? Some say that those that can break free from the Internet and Gaming when the time for them to work or spend time with their lovers and family is when they can call themselves not addicted so what is addiction and why does it bug me so much?

::Work::
Started work today. At I-pop or is that what it is called, friend recommendation this is just a part time job here. Pays quite well in fact. Well the US Secretary of State, Colin Powell with his speech to the UN Security Council was quite troubling at what Iraq is capable of or at least what the heck Saddam is up to. Lots of things are happening in our world that we live in today and these occuraces are not surprising . It is just when these thing would come clean from the Goverment. The US goverment holds a lot of information and this report is just a fraction of what they know. I believe that the citizens are kept in the dark because of their own safety what we know in life is surface what goes on up there is reality. So are our lifes in the control of others? Are our lives determined by the press of a button? When Saddam launches his weapons are out lives worth that much? So what are we worth? Humanity at stake what is actually happening to us as fellow humans? Oppressing and threatening each other when can we come clean and live in peace? With each country having their own laws and abmitions, with out the resolution for complete harmony and peace the answer is simple. NEVER..... Just think about it.

::Troubled::
Well Chinese New Year is so called over everyone is back to work and doing their stuff and for the parents earning back their money spurged on their children and other people's childen, giving away red packets of joy that brings festive cheer and happiness to the childen and adults as words of greetings and proper are exchanged in return. A time to be filial to your perents and watch the night as they say in chinese to bring your parents good health and longivity. After all this festive cheer and fun it is back to reality. Back to the screen and computer, to the news and to the war that is going to happen. Reading the news paper today troubled me as it was speaking about internet addiction, somehow I think the priorities of life are neglected when some of us sit behind the screen and type away, be it chatting, surfing for news or even just staring blankly at the screen. What would life be like without the computer or the internet? What would our efficiency become? How would be function after that? I and scard at that thought as an internet junkie. So are we addicts or is life evolving? I confess and think that I am a internet addict how about you?

::Glad::
Well my brother went back to camp tonite, hope he is okay with camp. Okay so the festive season is over time for me to look for a job and get a life again. After all the SAF slacking I think it is now time again to get back to life and do what I have to do. The SAT test are over and boy are the questions should I put it as easy although the time given is not favourable. Short time to get the most done is like doing some rush job but at least that is done and over with. So how are the people that view my page? How are the ang bao collections hope that you people get some big ones this CNY. Maybe some things happen these few days that get us feeling down but that is life. The water issue, space shuttle crash and America going to War? Hmm... Looks like a gloom year ahead eh? Oh yes the other day watched the show HERO staring Jet Li, Tony Leung, Maggie Chueng and Zhang Zi Yi. Wah the show is practically about the converation between Qin Xi Wang and a asassin that can kill from 100 paces off. Interesting way the director used colors to represent each part of converstation and how the story develop. But a few scenes in the show were predictable and I expected that it would happen. Okay think it is a little late already so take care the enjoy yoursleves. Think gonna have to go catch 8mile and Shanghai Knights. Take care and enjoy yourselves.
