::Life::

Hiya~ Been spending my days running erands and doing stuff rushing here rushing there looking for stuff. Walked around Singapore and discovered there is more to this island then there is. Well at least for my part.

If ya take a trip down to paradiz center or was it Peace center. Yah think it was Peace center, in there lots of machines churning out people's work of art. Posters, cards and many many other art work. Very nice pieces some of them. Was there to print a poster when I found out that the fonts that were in the portable drive have been deleted. Shucks made the trip for notthing. But must as well make the most out of the time there.

Took a trip up the escalator to a book shop run by Indians, and you know at these book stores you tend to be able to find bargain books although not in mint condition but good enough for reading eh? Well this book caught my eye. A Prentice Hall book, as all you people know or should sound familar to you, yeah prentice hall makes out text books or at least that is what I get at Poly. Oh yah the title was getting to that. Creative Photography is what the title is.

Basically it is just a guide to explain photography terms and help you make the most out of a shot and teach you the basics of photography. Nice colors and layout in the book. Really do hope that I will learn somthing from it.

Man do I thank God for friend and the people that keep me company espicially these fews days. Well at least we walked a lot, see a lot and had a lot to catch up. Maybe one day should just sit down somewhere and chill, get a kopi.

My little hammies are growing up and they are really cute. Will show you people one day when I get some pix of them till then take care and have fun.

::Another View::

Was chatting with a friend today about JC student and stuff. Making me come to think about life and how synical it is. Is it not werid why we were not given a chance to go furthur even with normal grades. My brother did not really do well for the A levels and this cause him to be stuck in between, sandwich not here not there. But what about the poly people? They say at least we have a diploma but what is a diploma? Where can it get us really?

So what happend to us along the way where did all the places in the universities go? What happened to the chance for us to study? Money? Politics? There are quite a few people from overseas coming here to study as well is that what our goverment planed all along? I guess for economical reason, yes. What about your own citizens going abroad to study? Hmm... Inter country coperation to generate revenue from citizens? I smell a fish we spend our money in other countries and other county citizens spend theirs in our country coming here to study. So what is it? If we study overseas with lousy grades do we still not get a degree why then can we not do it here? Three universities we have and lots of resources. So they why can we not do our education locally?

Overseas study will definately elighten our mind and expose us to new ideas and thoughts allowing growth and experience rich environment. So is there anyway to become less attatched to the life over here? Maybe and maybe not. Well just hope that the local uni will allow me to be admittted. I kinna disagree with the life we live but then again sacrifises must me made for progess and we are the sheep.

::Post Work::
Hello there peeps, welcome back to the boring world of me. = ) Awww that did not sound too nice did it? Anyways I am back from 3 weeks of working, working and working. But made new friends and relationships got stronger. So how have I been I hear you ask? <- Sheez too much work if you know Chitra you will know what I mean. Okay anyway things are fine and I am currently unemployed, finding a job and trying all sorts of ways to get into uni even if it is that I have to climb in though the window into the deans office and say. "Siao eh, Y U reject my admission letter so many times I sian liao ler. Lim beh wan to study here one you know." Of course that comes with the beng outfit and stuff. *tsk tsk tsk. Crap.

Life is kinna shitty when all the JC students get into uni and us poly peeps have to beg and beg let me in let me in. I wonder why is that so since the brain children of innovations mostly come from poly students. We maybe more rowdy but we get work done and done well by hook or by crook. Sometimes I wonder what the heck JC is for? People with out direction kekeke. JC - Junction & Crossroads hahaha... people without direction get it. Sorry to all the JC people out there. Just me, but face it if you mix round with poly people U guys may think we have a direction in life eh? But like many of you JC peep we have no idea what the heck is going on until we sign up for a course and den our diection is set. Or perhaps that is what I think. Maybe my direciton is to go to work be a Tau Kay. Sell sotong balls at the road side and den slowly upgrade. Eh that is how chicken rice stall owners buy Mercedez okay.

Was thinking is the Singapore eductional system fair? Just because we do not continue the normal study structure like from secondary school to junior college den to university makes us different. Yes we are different and because we these freaks are different we are not given a fair chance to go university. Lets see only 5-10 % of students from poly get to go to university is that called a fair system? Okay I am bitching cause I am not one of the better few. But then again so what? Are we not given a fair play here? What is our goverment up to even in OCS most of the people there are form JC, out of 5 officers in my coy 4 of them are from JC already only my PC is from poly. Face it poly people in the house we are 1st class people getting 2nd class respect. We come up with innovations but no one listens to us. We are crude by the way we work making it unacceptable in our society. So what more can I say? What do you people think? Tell me and see if I agree. Change my view. You can call me jealous or an asshole but what I write stands to a certain extent. * fist to chest of course there are some exceptional JC people that I do respect and those are true leaders and dare to work. But mostly to what I look at it many JC people tend to be less directional.

The beng factor in Singapore society has given us the same outspokeness that the Ang Mo have, should we call that the educated beng. Their actions and words come out sharp and witty and in this light I see bengs differently. They are loud, crude and "violent" but then this is our nature, how we fend off opposition, how we raise our views. We are differnet special in that sense. Like if I talk really good english would an Ang Mo give a damn, no cause they think their Ang Mo is better but then if I start to speak hokkien at them and maybe say eh U NBCB they would be like "what the fuck" then you tell them back "fuck I also know but you NBCB". Bah damn I am talking a lotta crap. Well forgive me for my words. Okay ponder and think of what I have written and tell me if it is true. Carpe Diem dun let the day slip by without you noticing.
